You can find love anywhere. At a coffee shop, at a party, and even during a game of flag football. That’s what happened to Jeremy + Kristen. Both being the outdoorsy, active people that they are this couldn’t have turned out better. Except maybe for when Jeremy proposed to Kristen at the top of the mountain that they hiked. It was a beautiful proposal at the Watkins Glen state park in upstate New-York. Kristen recalls the sweat.
Happy life farms engagement
Both living in Toronto, they wanted to escape the city for a more home away from home feel for their wedding day. No surprise that they found what they were looking for in the thousand islands area. In so, a happy life farms engagement was planed. The perfect rustic barn for the occasion as they drove from Toronto to finalize details for their Gananoque waterfront wedding. They had their rustic engagement at happy life farms. With the train tracks behind and next to a field it made it full of options. It gave their engagement photos a rustic and natural look.
For the lifestyle aspect of their rustic engagement session, they decided to share a glass of wine. I love with when my couples make their engagement sessions personal to them. For a second, we thought the rain would surprise us but the storm missed Landsdowne by two hairs. The clouds did produce some beautiful soft light I have to say. I always feel bad for my couple when it rains or if it’s close too. However, difficult weather can make for the best photos. Jeremy + Kristen were light, fun and natural, three of my favourite things. I can’t say enough how much fun this was. Most of all, I can’t wait for their wedding this June.
This engagement session was taken at Happy life farms in Lansdowne Ontario.
